After the first World Championship in Gothenburg in 1978, the next Worlds was organized in the USA in 1980.
In 1982 it was time for Europe again and the event took place in Uden, Holland.
98 drivers from 14 different countries (including 4 guys from Japan) met up to fight for it.
Winner was Paul Pfeiffer from the USA.
